Hargreaves Lansdown appoints CISO

CISO, Hargreaves LansdownUK-based fund house Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) has bolstered its in-house technology team with the appointment of a chief information and security officer (CISO).

Segun Oyinloye has been named as the new addition, replacing previous CISO Jon Kidd.

He joins HL from Sainsbury’s bank where he was chief information security officer with responsibility for information security, records management and data protection.

In his new role, Oyinloe will be charged with developing HL’s information and security and leading the existing information security team.

His appointment coincides with HL’s ongoing digital transformation.

In February last year, chief executive Chris Hill announced plans to invest £175 million over the next five years across its technology and service teams.
