Revolut enters robo-advisor market

chat GPT newFinancial super app Revolut is set to launch a robo-advisor service in Ireland.

According to a Revolut statement, the robo-advisor will offer customised portfolios to customers based on questions to answers designed to identify their “risk tolerance and financial goals”.

The company states that the launch is designed to cater for clients with limited trading experience.

Rolandas Juteika, head of wealth and trading in the European Economic Area for Revolut, referred to research carried out by the company in 2023 which found that 53% of its customers “simply don’t know where to start when it comes to investing”.

Revolut has been expanding its investment services in the last year.

In 2023 it added European stocks to its offering along with a subscription service for more advanced traders which includes access to portfolio analytics and a trading terminal.

It has also been reported that Revolut is planning to launch a crypto exchange, also targeted at more advanced traders
