BNP Paribas, trading, data, deal, Bloomberg, French, asset servicer, BNPPFrench asset servicer BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNPP SS) has entered an agreement with Bloomberg to strengthen its post-trade workflow process.

The deal will see BNPP SS integrate its middle office outsourcing data service with Bloomberg’s order management system Bloomberg AIM.

The integration will support mutual clients with their data workflows and standardised data connectivity, state Bloomberg and BNPP SS.

According to Bloomberg’s head of buy-side post-trade product, Katia Falina, the deal is an example of Bloomberg’s strategy to focus on “establishing direct integrations with asset servicers to promote increased data accuracy across the trade lifecycle”.

BNPP SS head of middle office transaction management product Valerie Bolea Waeterloos added that the deal is part of the firm’s ‘Open Front Office’ strategy, which includes developing more integration with popular portfolio management systems.
