BNPP SS appoints co-heads for data & digital services department

BNPP SS, data, digitalBNP Paribas's Securities Services business has appointed Jean-Marc Friess and Thomas Durif as co-heads of its data & digital services department. 

Friess will serve as chief digital services officer, overseeing digital channels, the Cognitive Centre and the NeoLink client platform. 

Durif takes on the role of chief data officer, leading the corporate data strategy and developing next-generation data infrastructure. 

Both executives will report to Lydie Vallese, general secretary & head of company engagement. 

The appointments align with BNP Paribas's 2025 strategic plan, focusing on growth, technology and sustainability. 

Philippe Ruault, the former head of data & digital transformation, has been appointed CEO of SLIB, a BNP Paribas-owned fintech. 

Vallese highlighted the importance of digitalisation and the expertise Friess and Durif bring in providing superior data management and innovative services to clients.
