Apex appoints ex-Broadridge exec as president

Business Deal WideFund services provider Apex has named industry veteran Samir Pandiri as group president.

The former CEO of BNY Mellon’s asset servicing division will report to Apex founder and CEO Peter Hughes and will also serve as a member of the executive committee.

In the newly-created position, Pandiri will support Apex’s expansion plans and oversee operations, technology product innovation and risk management.

He was most recently president of fintech Broadridge, responsible for post-trade technology, global proxy and asset management data and technology businesses outside of North America, a role he held for four years before departing in early May.
